Love the colours of this one ... we have white lilies for Easter and I managed to get a nice shot.

If the question isnt unappropriate, how much does this camera cost?

No problem. In my local photography shop it is priced at 549 for the body without a lens so on line it will be a lot cheaper.

The clarity of this shot, however, owes more to the lens (it's Canons wonderful 100mm macro) and the fact that I have started to use a tripod and the correct F stop rather than trying to get away with it hand held.

So it can be said its a professional item?

Well when you go for a DSLR it will be an expensive business but this camera is considered to be only an entry level camera. If you want a full frame DSLR it's going to set you back 3, 4, 5 times the price. The Nikon D3S will set you back 3577 and the Canon 1DS 5370 both for the body alone.
