Abstract Penguin

I took some photo's of the penguins at Birdland and was very disappointed with the results (you will notice that I have no images of penguins here so far), so on my return I decided to look for the beautiful patterns that were so evident in their feathers but not on my earlier shots.

I'm much happier with this set of photo's so some of them have made it to the upload stage :)

I've never seen a penguin so close, it's amazing!
This is a beautiful little series- I wouldn't have thought that you could abstract a penguin, but you did, stunningly well.

Thank you for your kind words, I took these because I was so disappointed with the first set of shots that I took. All of my shots looked like every other photo of a penguin that I have seen. So I tried something different :)
